Robert Heyward Land, Jr is an emerging Social and Development Leader and Trainer who is pursuing a degree in Business Management and studying for his PMI Certification in Project Management. He has a course certificate with honors in Social Psychology and a certificate in Online Blended Learning from Office For Victims Of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center, Advanced Skills Institute.   He aims to develop innovative ways to work with marginalized and vulnerable groups especially, men and boys who are at a greater risk of experiencing disadvantageous socioeconomic difficulties that significantly reduce their participation in all spheres and their ability to live full and abundant lives to be dynamic agents of change in building strong, healthy, and violent free families and communities.

Mr. Land, Jr believes in the power of social change, inclusion, collaboration, impact storytelling, and second chances. Drawing from his life experiences as an African American with Cuban maternal heritage, and that of others, he is passionate about researching community and family dynamics and cultures, including men and boys (especially men of color) socioeconomic reintegration into society after incarceration and intersections of race, masculinity, adult education, power imbalances, and economics. He believes in intentional growth and is embracing his life journey while aspiring to be a conscious mentor to his children, family, and fellow citizens ultimately investigating ways to enrich communities and promote social and gender justice, conflict transformation, inclusion, and peaceful co-existence for all.
